Senior Pastor Adewale Giwa of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry issued a warning on Sunday, saying that God will judge false pastors before they pass away.

Pastor Giwa issued a warning: before they depart this world, false men of God who spread lies in God’s name will suffer the consequences.

He made this revelation while speaking to his followers in Akure, Ondo State, and denounced the use of social media to disparage devout men of God.

Giwa asserts: “Can we say that all pastors are not of God? Who is God calling now? When you say this one is fake, that one is fake.

“You claim that Kumuyi, Oyedepo, and Adeboye are all fake and don’t speak the truth, but I can assure you that this is the devil’s deception.

If all of these men are fake, then who did God really call? The devil and his operatives have taken over social media.

This implies that the purpose of those making all of these accusations is to undermine Christians. Their tactic is to make you lose interest in attending church when they say these things.

God told me this a long time ago. On social media, I sit and gaze at them.

Some of the people who criticise God’s men on social media have messy hair; if you were watching, you should have realised that this person’s life does not please God and that the devil uses them as a ready tool.

“I’ll tell you what, the devil can use anyone to oppose God’s work, but don’t let him use you.”

“Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying that there aren’t any phoney pastors or men of God, but it isn’t our place to judge them; their deeds will do so before they pass away.

“Additionally, Pastor Giwa warned against relying too much on social media because it isn’t a comforting tool. He emphasised that the happiness that comes from social media is fleeting.

“Many people find happiness on social media and believe it can comfort them, but social media is not a comforter,” he said. You can only be comforted by God’s word.

“I’ve witnessed a lot of couples where the wife picks up her phone and immediately goes to social media in the hopes that it will comfort her, but that’s not the case.”

“It can only give you temporary joy, it can’t give you permanent joy,” Pastor Giwa said, highlighting James 4:4: “A friend of the world is an enemy of God.”

“You are no longer a friend of God; instead, you are a friend of the world if you are addicted to social media. For this reason, the author of Galatians 3 wrote to the Galatian Christians who had been duped by false prophets.

They strayed from the authentic teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and let false prophets influence them by telling them to adhere to the law of Moses, which states that one cannot enter God’s kingdom if one is not circumcised.

Paul clarified for them, however, that those who are circumcised and murder will not be allowed to enter God’s kingdom. “So many Christians make decisions on social media, so we shouldn’t be chosen,” he continued.
