Ahead of the Senate President Godswill Akpabio claim hearing, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja. After being accused of disobeying the court order, she came on Tuesday to provide her own account.

The Senate president’s contempt claim against Akpoti-Uduaghan was scheduled for hearing today, Tuesday, by Justice Binta Nyako on Monday.

In addition, Justice Nyako stated that she would consider Natasha’s previous contempt charge against Akpabio, the Senate, and others for allegedly disobeying a previous court order. Jibrin Okutekpa, the head of Senator Natasha’s legal team, informed the court during Monday’s resumed hearing that the case was scheduled for hearing as previously postponed.

He claimed that the parties to the lawsuit had filed the necessary paperwork as requested by the court and were prepared to move forward.
