Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan accused him of sexual harassment, according to Reno Omokri, the former presidential media aide. The senator from Kogi made a similar accusation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio a few days prior.

On Saturday, Omokri posted a video to his Facebook page that described the incident. Natasha first recorded the video on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, while running for the Social Democratic Party’s Kogi state governorship.

According to Akpoti-Uduaghan, Omokri made advances on her on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, during a state dinner hosted by then-President Goodluck Jonathan for visiting Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa. Akpoti-Uduaghan refuted Omokri’s assertions in the video that he was not in the nation on the dates she specified.

She also demanded that Omokri’s claims that he was not in the country at the time be looked into by the Nigerian Immigration Service. In a rebuttal, Omokri stated that Jonathan had sent him to the US as a special envoy to try to improve Nigeria’s reputation following the Chibok girls scandal, so he was not in Nigeria when Natasha claimed he harassed her.

“At the time of Natasha Akpoti’s accusation, I was not in Nigeria. Thus, it is clear that she lied. “Natasha removed all evidence of her accusation after newspapers published my evidence.

She erased everything. She had insulted my wife, my newborn daughter, and me in a video. “She removed that as well,” Omokri said.
