Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa claimed that her attire at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) was sophisticated and likely would have taken home the Best Dressed trophy.
At the 2025 AMVCA, Liquorose Afije, a BBNaija star, won Best Dressed Female, and Prince Nelson, her coworker, won Best Dressed Male.
Each of the winners took home a cash prize of ₦1 million. In response to the news, Uriel Oputa wrote on Instagram on Saturday night that she was late for the event and thus lost the Best Dressed Female award to Liquorose.
“This is not to disparage anyone’s design,” she wrote. Everyone was gorgeous. “But let’s face it, my tardiness was the only reason I didn’t win best dressed. No one can claim that my dress didn’t get eaten.
