After a court order ordered MultiChoice to stop its planned price increases, the company has recalculated its subscription rates for DStv and GOtv customers in Nigeria. The action was taken in response to legal issues that caused the business to lose more than a million Nigerian subscribers.
After the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal in Abuja rejected the price increase, MultiChoice updated its apps to reflect the revised rates as of Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Four months after its last price increase, Multichoice, a Nigerian broadcasting company, has increased the cost of its products. The business looked at all of the package prices.

On May 1, 2024, the new prices will go into effect. The most recent price increase raised the DStv Premium package from N29,500 to N37,000. Similarly, the Compact package went up from N12,500 to N15,700, and the DStv Compact+ went up from N19,800 to N25,000.
